Demitta Clausell-Reese works for the Navigators, a Christian organization, as the Cultural Journey Supervisor in the Train – Develop – Care Department. She leads her team and the organization in their journey of deepening their understanding and relationships for peoples of all ethnicities and God’s heart for justice.
Growing up in a military home, and the daughter of pastors, Demitta was blessed to travel across the country and abroad with her family. This experience exposed her to people of many different races and ethnicities which planted a seed of love and passion for people, something she witnessed by her parents. Through the years, that passion grew giving her a desire to bridge the cultural gap, and to nurture and see individuals flourish in the gifts and talents given to them by God.
Demitta holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management, with many years of experience in both corporate and non-profit settings. She also serves as an associate pastor for Solid Rock Christian Center in Colorado Springs, CO.
Demitta and her husband Marvin are residents of the Southeast community in Colorado Springs, CO and have 5 children and 12 grandchildren whom they adore. They make no secret of how much they pride themselves as being their kid’s biggest cheerleaders and supporters.
