Hannah Van Nimwegen-McGuire is a Senior City Planner with the City of Colorado Springs focusing on long-range and neighborhood planning efforts. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Urban and Environmental Planning from Arizona State University and a Graduate Certificate in Public Management from University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Hannah has worked in the City Planning field for ten years receiving her AICP (American Institute Certified Planner) credentials in May of 2018. Hannah celebrated one year of marriage to her husband, Kyle, in summer of 2021. They’ve adopted two pets—Stewart and Princess—during quarantine, and enjoy weekend hikes through the city’s many regional parks.
