The Civic Ambassador Program is designed to help 11-18 year old’s advance through a 16 week program consisting of group work, group and one on one discussions, presentations, community service and mentorship. By connecting with elected officials, business owners, non-profit leaders and community advocates, we provide an opportunity to build real and tangible relations with viable role models. The Civic Ambassadors program hopes to reduce youth violence and the juvenile arrest rate in Colorado Springs. As the program grows, youth will be groomed and trained to serve in an advisory role to ensure the program stays relative to the needs of the youth in our community.
